In the chapters that follow this short instruction manual there are writings by Nicolas de Oliveira, Nicola Oxley, and David Price.
All of these chapters are laid out in a 3 column format, with their main body (be it text or image) in the centre, and with attendant materials to the left and right.
The written chapters by either de Oliveira, Oxley or Price have been intervened on by one or more of the others.
As you will see by clicking the footnote markers, the ‘contents’ of the footnotes appear within the text.1They can be opened or closed according to the reader’s wishes.
Whilst some of these footnotes are references or citations, many of them take on a para-textual relation to the text in which they appear.2The possibilities of ‘animating’ the discourse of multiple authors in this way is closely related to the spirit of curation addressed in this project: a hospitality of forms, and the production of space within which work might occur.
Unlike in a book the chapters are not intended for strictly sequential reading; since they are not a chronological account.
However, a extensive timeline chronicling all the exhibitions and events forms the final chapter.
